New favourite jeans
Tried these on at a David Jones and fell in love with how great these jeans are! I actually have a second pair in faded black. They look great on and the high rise and hem length is perfect on my 5"7 height.
I did size down from a 26 to get the legs a bit slimmer making them just a pinch tighter than I'd like in the waist, but regardless I wear them all the time. I'm wearing them right now!
I'd love to see a 26 waist on a size 25 everywhere else :)

Elegant & Stylish
These fit around my hips & waist feeling comfortable, not tight. The fall of the fabric and the high waist provides an elegant look that is also feminine. I have a larger size pair for a slouchier look, but I always come back to these.
I love the French Black colour as well.

Comfortable but less dressy than others
I find high rise jeans practical, since I have a long torso. These are very comfortable, however they look quite sloppy. I wouldn't call them dressy, and I usually find more fitted ones suit me better. (They look much better on the model than they do on me). I went up a size as I was worried about how tight they would be around my waist, and I often become bloated, however, given the over-relaxed fitting, I won't be buying this size again. Hopefully one size down in black will provide a more dressy/relaxed look.
