What does comfort denim mean?

Comfort denim, sometimes known as comfort rigid, is designed for those who want an authentic vintage look to their denim with a little bit of stretch. Comfort denim will keep its shape and doesn't require as much "wearing in" as rigid denim. It is also a slightly lighter weight which makes for a great trans-seasonal jean. If you normally wear super stretchy denim, try going up half a size.

How do I wash my jeans?

Always turn your jeans inside out. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Use a mild detergent. For dark indigo denim, wash alone the first time to prevent colour transfer.

The Wash:

Once the base fabric is dyed, it can then be washed back to create various levels of intensity from solid black to washed blacks and greys
Black dye will fade with excessive washing to lighter shades and subtle wear templates
Cold wash will help reduce fade

Made with premium construction & a mid-weight denim that is comfortable to wear in without losing its shape

Best. Jeans. Ever!

Literally the only jeans I have bought for the past 10 years or so. Once you get your fit right. They have the right amount of stretch to make them so comfortable and wearable all day, all night or both. Please never stop making these!

Unbelievably comfortable, and very dark.

These are by far the comfiest jeans I've ever owned. Extremely soft and stretchy, without losing shape. They are impressively dark, and are easy to dress up. The cut is more 'slim' than 'skinny'. I personally decided to take them in to have them tapered. This was my first experience with NEUW, and I now own 6 other pairs of their jeans. If these eventually fade and wear out I can see myself replacing them with the very same pair.

I had to keep hold of this item as I could not return it to Australia due to covid-19, however the item does not fit and is not accurate to describe other jeans in the same variety. For context I have other iggy jeans that are a size 32 and fit perfectly, however these at a size 32 are incredibly small.
