What does comfort denim mean?

Comfort denim, sometimes known as comfort rigid, is designed for those who want an authentic vintage look to their denim with a little bit of stretch. Comfort denim will keep its shape and doesn't require as much "wearing in" as rigid denim. It is also a slightly lighter weight which makes for a great trans-seasonal jean. If you normally wear super stretchy denim, try going up half a size.

How do I wash my jeans?

Always turn your jeans inside out. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Use a mild detergent. For dark indigo denim, wash alone the first time to prevent colour transfer.

Not bad, but the not a very secure cord

I prefer the style when it's tied up for the paperbag look. The main the, however, is due to the stiffness of the facric, the cord that is supposed yo be tied around the waist is also stiff, meaning it doesn't tie very tightly or stay tied for very long. I've found they fit much better when I put an actual belt around my waist (made a bit awkward since this particular pair purposely didn't have belt loops attached. Either way, they still look good when tied tightly around the waist, as opposed to being left to look slouchy (since they are incredibly slouchy - not a look I'm incredibly fond of).
